Dear RB: Have you seen Brown & Co. site? Very bare bones. Dreyfus ex Pacific is far better especially if your an options trader. Also they require 15,000 and they don't even have demo screens. Unless your margin is over 1 mill. there is no competition there. It took brown & Co. 3 years to get the hang of on-line. They will be no threat even at their low equity comm. schedule. Additionally I don't think they offer check writing and their option comm. aren't that great. Can't see that lowering est. a penny can or should do this kind of damage. It looks like we are oversold here. JFD
