I am very involved in the bingo industry and specifically with electronic bingo. I have periodically monitored the agti thread and finally decided to make some comments, as there is a tremendous lack of information and misunderstanding as to how charitable bingo works.

K & B sales represents many different electronic bingo products. They are a Bingo King distributor, thus are heavily encouraged to push the Bingo King product line (system 12 and power bingo). However, K & B's electronic sales are primarily generated from Fortunet. Fortunet has both fixed units and handheld models and currently command between 15% - 18% of the Texas market. Fortunet does not have a tremendously large presence outside of Texas at this time. Fortunet is a good product, but have been weak in distribution and customer service.

BTC has the TED handheld and is now representing the AGT fixed unit. There are about four Texas distributors, including K & B, that distribute for BTC. During 1997, the TED product commanded approximately 22% of electronic revenues generated in Texas. I believe that the BTC marketshare has declined during this first quarter of 1998.

Bingo King has about five distributors, including K & B that are representing the System 12 & Power Bingo products. System 12 was approved by the Texas Lottery Commission earlier this year for use within Texas, so was not available during 1997. The Power Bingo product was available, but has not met with much player acceptance. The Power Bingo units commanded approximately 4% of the electronic revenues generated within Texas.

GameTech has both fixed units and handsets available. During 1997, GameTech commanded approximately 54% of the electronic bingo market within Texas. GameTech is represented by only one distributor within Texas.

Texas has approximately 225 - 250 bingo halls that are generally referred to as commercial halls, meaning that multiple charities utilize the facility playing 12 - 14 sessions per week. Of the other 250 or so halls, they are primarily Veteran, Fraternal or Church facilities, that play 1 - 6 sessions per week. Some of these facilities are viable for electronic bingo, though many are not. I would estimate that 90% of the commercial halls have now installed some form of electronic bingo.

I am not an unbiased observer; however, I will be happy to provide you with factually, verifiable information regarding Texas and the bingo industry. I will be leaving Sat. morning for a week long ski vacation, but will check back with you next weekend. I certainly do not want to rain on anyone's parade, but AGT stockholders need to know something about the industry and the facts behind the press releases.
