Hopdad

The best advise I can give you is to attend one of Doug Rs (of 56 point TA thread fame) seminars. My sell signal today was a violation of what is called the IL. It is one of Dougs proprietory calculations so I can not reveal how it is calculated. The IL is a very lofty goal for a stock and if it is reached most stocks have trouble sustaining the momentum to climb it. APCO tried real hard, in fact it closed the day on the IL. However any violation of the IL was my sell signal and the dip today was just enough. I am looking for a pull back to 9.50 or so to reenter. I will send you a private message with some books Doug recommends reading. You would do yourself a favor by following his thread also. 56 point TA is the name.

happy trades
David

TA reference

If you go equis.com you will find
a reference that covers most of the TA terms (but not all). It
is about 200 pages. There is a hardcopy of this reference
"Technical Analysis A to Z" at bookstores for about $20-$30.

hope this helps
