Oh dear Jane!!! You have tempted me to endlessly url(has that become a verb yet?) articles from my local newspaper, The San Francisco Chronicle. Some people here are quite sick of feeling like they have my local fishwrap, as it is affectionately known here, crammed down their throats, or up somewhere else, and will probably object vehemently. But sure, I will go looking for hate crimes against homosexuals, and post them when I find them. They happen frequently here. In the meantime, here is a little blurb or two about homosexual hate crimes. The data is not up to date, but the general information is, well, informative. apa.org tde.com You know, Jane, I don't think anyone would argue that a homosexual is justified in forcing himself on another person. That is assault, or rape, depending upon the circumstances, not a hate crime. I think people need to be careful and separate out homosexuals from rapists and child abusers, who are more often heterosexual, but are definitely committing a crime regardless of their sexual identity.
