I bought some SLB (70 7/8) and NE (26 7/8) today. Was today a good day to buy or should I have waited until the price of oil goes to $12?

I have a sick feeling you may be right on FGII. As you and I both know, a stock can stay in the overbought range for quite a while. That's why I don't get official buy signals until the stochastics turn around significantly upward. But I'm hoping the only reason it broke support was because of HLX news. I'm not buying any more just holding on to what I have. My cost average is 25 so I'm still OK, and will ride it out.

Won't anyone feel sorry for me? I bought HLX on Thursday!

Little OT -

Davep, How do you arrive at your support and resistance numbers. Do you just use moving averages, if so, could you explain each for me.

Is this correct? Support looks like 29 at the 50 day moving average and, the upwards resistance looks like around 32 at the 100 day moving average. Why do you say go long at 24? Is this a lower support and how do you get that number? Sorry if this is remedial.

Thanks, Rich
