For any who might be interested in researching what happens to companies that are the subject of SEC trading suspensions, I have compiled a list of some of the companies involved over approximately the past two years. There are probably a few companies missing from the list since it appears that trading halts may not always be posted at the SEC Web site (e.g. GIFS and GRNO) or, perhaps, I simply missed them. I have also added any additional civil or criminal enforcement actions which I found at the SEC web site concerning the company. However, it is likely that this list is incomplete regarding enforcement actions which have been initiated but have not completed due process and also in the area of criminal enforcement actions, whether completed or not. A few minor observations: (1) Most companies are only the subject of a single trading halt (or, perhaps, only the first halt tends to get posted at the SEC Web site). Exceptions: Twenty First Century Health and Struthers. (2) Some of the individuals involved in the SEXI scam didn't confine their 'talents' to just that company (see the enforcement actions regarding Twenty First Century Health and Combined Companies International). (3) International Heritage wasn't the only company whose trading was temporarily suspended on Friday the 13th of March, 1998 (look at the very end of the list). The other one (Electro-Optical Systems Corp,) and 12 other individuals were also the subject of an SEC suit charging manipulation. (4) Though I'm not sure how many one would expect due to chance, it seems to me that an unusually large number (7) have the word 'international' in their name. There's also one with 'global' as part of their name (not to mention 'super' and 'excellence').
