Was it offensive for me to ask for facts concerning your assumption that it was Christians who were the cause of people throwing their kids out on the street?

Christine, your stated mission of "discussing" and "exploring" this "issue" has clearly moved to "and help me fight those who were indeed offended by the post upon which you congratulated me.

Wow, Christine. True colors?

Christine -- I am a great admirer of your precept of loving life in all its forms. Not right to life but LOVE of life -- ALL life. To be truthful at this point it is hard to resist getting involved. Dwight seems to be so offended by criticism of religious dogma that he will raise hell to fight it. Tough luck. It is true, as he says, that homosexual sins can be lumped in the general category of "carnal sins". Paul did say that to be carnally minded is sin "death" and the catholic church has long held (by Papal pronouncement) that sexual activity should be restricted to instances such that procreation is at least possible. Hence their refusal to condone any birth control other than the "timing method" (which still baffles me since the goal is to exclude procreation just the same). Needless to say sodomy is not an accepted practice. Which does bring us to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in which an unruly mob tries to sodomize two angels in the belief that they are men. This mob is tempted with virgins but they refuse the exchange and for that are duly punished with everlasting fire. Quite incendiary if you ask me.
