Thanks for the response. Needless to say, without your blessing, I did not follow through on my threat to buy a block of LSI the next morning. :-) As to my thoughts about prospects in the semi sectors, you will be disappointed to learn that I tend to rely on various newsletters, the financial press and, of course, the cogent folks on this and related SI threads. In fact, I've been known to pass along the wisdom gained on this thread to friends and business associates. Clearly, though, given the fairly narrow trading range recently (apart from the sizable recovery from the 19+ low in Dec./Jan.), I've got to get myself some more affluent friends! Currently, I'm holding, like you, a tracking position in LSI, a (for me) sizable chunk in DPMI, a clutch of INTC, a gaggle of CPQ and a partridge in a pear tree...Oh, and the main swag is in long term, conservative stocks on both sides of the border inside retirement savings plans. BTW, I suspect that my wife has begun to notice the amount of time I'm spending reading vrs. SI threads so I might shortly be ordered to take a trip to Wiseowl's SI Anonymous thread to 'dry out.'
