Since you are new on the thread...
...please, allow me to explain how to send messages.

There are "public messages" and there are "private messages".
Public messages are for everyone to see and private messages are not.

If you receive a public message you already know how to respond.
You already did that with EHF.

Now for your question, "how to respond to a private message".
At the bottom there appears a "Reply" text which you can click.
This "Reply" (private) is somewhat larger than the "Respond"
for the public thread. A window appears and you can type your
message.

I hope this answers the question on how to reply to a private
message. It might be important sometime when one choose to
answer someone whom they do not wish to needlessly offend or embarrass in public,... with their opinions.
