HerbVic "these bonds seem to have an International flair for Business in developing the Apple corporate Machine". Interesting comment.

Yours truly,

HerbVic,

Well, I also don't rule out the possibility that BOD have selected
another person who Jobs has consulted with on that top slot marketing
job. Both agreed on the pick. But, at least I believe Jobs will be
the Chairman of the board if he doesn't want to be the CEO.

Either way should be fine with Apple and investors. So, this event
(selecting marketing head) has indicated the CEO has been determined,
either Jobs or other one. If Jobs wants the CEO job, then it is
unnecessary to announce in the coming Seybold event, otherwise, the
probability of announcing the new CEO will be significantly likely.

Just my $0.02.

Phil

That would be a reasonable assumption unless one considers the possibility that the new CEO has already been chosen, and has requested Tim Cook be assigned.

I agree. If the new CEO has been chosen, it'll be announced on Tuesday. Hang on...
