Tom, thanks very much for posting the Dow Jones story. I think the ITVU huge stock run-up is very easy to explain: -positive underwriter notes - Red Herring article thanks to Francis Gaskins plug -Silicon Investor ( lots of cross-promotion on other threads ) -AOL ( talked about on Shark boards and chat rooms ) -Internet mania fuelled by the big Internet show this week -Bob Pisani/CNBC feature on Wed ( PPOD also popped right after that Pisani piece ) I was surprised that last week's Cruttenden Roth growth stock conference did not really affect the stock price last week. Did I miss anything? Look to BVSN, SEEK, CNCX and RNWK trading patterns for potential clues to ITVU volume/pricing trends in coming days/weeks, especially BVSN. My guess is that Smart Money will not pile on prematurely or else they will boost the stock to the stratosphere before they get a chance to build decent positions. I would not be surprised to see them lay in the weeds until volume dries up a bit, thereby causing the day traders to tag ITVU as "dead money" and bail out..As they bail out, stop loss orders get triggered, some get margin calls and when nobody knows where the bottom is and the technicals look awful, suddenly the stock will pop on big volume out of seemingly nowhere. Look at the price/volume on BVSN in past 30 days for an example. Did we see this gap filling and consolidation process on ITVU take place all in one day, ie Have we seen the bottom ( 12) today? Any TA gurus out there care to comment? Should be interesting to see how ITVU plays out in the next few days/weeks and lots of fun. I got off the train prematurely on NSPK and never managed to get back on, waiting for the big dip that never came.
