Hi George.

Welcome Aboard !!

We get very excited when we meet a Virgin ( first post is to the Trinity thread )

I have spoken to one of the Board members up here in the Pacific North West about conducting the next Annual S/H's meeting on this side of the pond since 85 % of the S/H reside in the US. Appears we didn't get very far with that suggestion heh? Maybe next year after the stock is hovering in the $ 10 dollar range.

As for LHA, we are not very sure where they stand in the overall scheme of things at this time since the CEO mentioned the possibility of working something out from an Irish perspective.

As for the supply of Stock, I sometimes feel somebody has a printing press and is feeding paper into the market. Where oh where is it coming from ?? And this gigantic volume ? We keep chewing our way through 300,000 shares a day, and I often fell as if we are eating an Elephant one bite at a time!

As for your suggestion that there just might be more " Clarks and Centocors" in our future, that is a distinct possibility as the Boys of Dublin are constantly foraging the country-side turning over every rock looking for possible situations that would be accretive to our bottom line.

OFF Subject but speaking of acquisitions.....I follow a small start-up situation ..... Plastic Lumber..( ECPL ) Since December of 1996, the company has made TWELVE .. yes .. ( 12 ) acquisitions.
Revenues in 1996 were $ 1.8 million and they expect to generate in excess of $ 55 million in 1998 !

The management of Trinity Biotech are very capable and very shrewd business people. They have a proven track record and they have proven themselves to be extremely capable managers, measured by any criteria one wishes to choose. Who else could pull off the SLF/ENV/ Trinity deal and end up with over 600,000 shares of Selfcare ?

We now return to our regularly scheduled program..( March Madness )
