The banks have already started to feel the affects of Asia. The next big test to the markets is what Japan does 4/1/98 with the Big Bang. If they delay the Nikkei will tank and if they go forward $ 2 Trillion in deposits may be moved from shaky banks by tired depositors causing a collapse. Either way 4/1/98 should be very interesting. IMO before the end of the summer China will devalue, Japan will be in crisis, and Hong Kong will re-peg their dollar.
