It's certainly a guessing game at this point, but it seems like something is up at SyQuest. Additional pieces of this puzzle are that s.bateh here on SI and Shig on AOL reported that both Ingram and Merisel either do not have an ETA for additional SparQ shipments or that the next shipments aren't expected to arrive until sometime in April. Also of note is that there have been no shipments of external SyJets for several months at Merisel even though they have a backlog.

The funny thing about Insight's discontinuation of the internal SparQ's was that Insight had supplies of both the internal and external SparQ's continuously for quite some time. I've watched the inventory number gradually decline before the abrupt discontinuation.
