Maurice: I am making a deal with SI to have that spell-checker flag any use of the word "price", and it will not allow the posting of "CURRENT PRICE IS..." On a more serious note, I think there is some wiggle room in the scenario you site. If the gateway operator and service provider want more business in the Au/NZ area, they can independently lower their cut to increase revenues. They will account for probably half the cost in the numbers I have seen. I do not think it unreasonable that they will cut deals to load the birds flying over their area. Not an entirely elegant solution, but certainly a move towards your Utopian priced society.
