Purething, Do you want me to post the Greek text as it appears in the original and convert it word for word into it's english equivilant? I can do that but it will take me some time. And of course that kind of translation would not be the King James, it would be, well...a word for word translation. The King James was commisioned by the king of England. There is a version of the King james that has been created form the original KJV, it's called the New KJV and it leaves off the thees and thous and the like. For the most part it's easier to read since we don't talk that way anymore. Same goes for te American Standard which has its counter part in the New Amercan Standard. What is needed is an innerliniear translation which I don't have at my finger tips, but can get one. And I don't mind you belaboring the point, you certainly have the right to ask all the questions you want. I can't say that I can answer them all with as much clarity and comprehensivenss as I would like, but I can try. regards jim

here's an interesting translation of the portion that the KJV refers to as abusers of themselves with men, or mankind. in this version, and you won't find it on a shelf anywhere cause it's a greek scholar's commentary on the text in question written in 1928 or so, i think. He uses the word, Pederast. I looked it up, since I don't use that word everyday and it means sodomy between males, lovers of boys, esp, love between men and boys. The old greeks were fond of that too as I recall.
