<<<Teddy's question: does this mean the demand for semis is so high they might not be able to find one? Dayrates should stay high.>>>

That is correct Teddy, prices are determined by supply and demand. No amt of whining about dayrates by the E&Ps will lower them. The E&Ps left the drillers to die when the bottom fell out of oil in the 80's, now it's time for them to get some of their own medicine and pay for their short sightedness. There are currently 71 semi's capable of drilling in depths of 3000 feet or more IN THE WORLD. Every one of them that is capable of operation w/out major refurbishments is K'd out or being converted at the moment except for the Shelf IV (which NE has recently begun work on)

I keep telling you guys these things, and everyone seems to ignore me till they read it in some press release from some idiot reporter. Things are strong out there guys, and gas is looking better all the time.

Thean: Did you check out Berkshire's Annual Report? Looks to be a good possibility that Buffett sold their position in NKE. SHE'S GOIN DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(ggg)
