Mathon, << off topic O.K. guys, this it it. Cars, cars, cars >> I was going to send Mathon a private email, but the automotive response requires me to make a public post! My sand master friend drives a nostalgic muscle car. Like it or not, he has openly declared himself a red-blooded American capitalist. BTW, I share his crony capitalism comments which I take heat over on the threads, but what do I know, only spent 5 years there and was married to an Asian for 25 years before the afterworld wanted her more than me. No sympathy needed. Was blessed again with a 2nd wonderful wife. Back to basics. CARS! Mathon, you figured me wrong. I always drove state of the art muscle cars. The last I had, before I changed lifestyles (getting to darn old) was an 88 mustang. I rebuilt the engine and drag raced on an amateur level on a profession drag strip in Ennis, Texas. After much rebuilding of the motor I turned about 13.9 quarter mile times unless I hit the the nitrous button, which put me in the low 12's. Rebuilding blown motors became too much for my tired eyes. Gave it up. Here in Colorado, I drive a Jeep grand cherokee. To whomever made the Toyota post, bring it on up! We'll do a little off road and snow and ice, that is, if you can get out of my driveway. We tend to get a little snow up here at 9k. Math-- you know, that white stuff that floats down from the sky. We have wells also. They're just not in sand. We dig them through solid granite about 100 meters down for water. More critical than black gold. Don't get me wrong. Love those old muscle cars, but I'm from hi-tech, and dig those new rockets that turn 25 mile per gallon. Next on my mountain list is a 4 wheeler diesel 7+ liter for pulling my horse into the back country. Uh, how do camels work in snow? Maybe I could be the 1st camel jock in the mountains! Actually Toyota is a top 4 wheel choice up here, that is if you live in the flatlands of Denver. They just can't cut it in the mountains with those awesome 100 hp motors! :-) :-) Larry
