re: your point 3. Do you have the idc source? The last study I saw had CPQ #1, HWP #2, IBM #3 and Dell #4 in the Intel server space, with Dell at about 1/6 of CPQ (35% for cpq, 5.8% for Dell). Cpq had more than the next 2 combined. Dell did have the fastest growth in the server space but cpq had share gain in this space so Dell did not gain at cpq's expense. Only Ibm lost share so gains among the other three were at the expense of small guys like AST.

Mr. Jason,

Even though I am long CPQ, you raise good points as a contrarian on this thread. It is good to have diverse opinions as it will encourage further discussions on the issues raised. This could give those that want to invest in CPQ a good opportunity to evaluate their future positions better, short or long. Please do it gently though, the same goes for those that differ with you. It will go a long way, IMHO.
