An homage to Tokyo Joe! From a lemming and loving it -- a long-time follower of SI and a paid member since well before the doors flew open. Before T/M came into my life, I spent probably a $1,000 subscribing to paid investment newsletters. Never made a dime following their recommendations, but did lose considerably more. Since the first of the year, I figure I've made about $50,000 following Joe's advice. Maybe chump change to you of the BIG EGOS --more power to your incredible investing savvy -- but serious money to me. T/M has suggested what to buy, when to buy, and when to sell. Holding my hand throughout. What has he asked in return? Not one cent, nada. Has he made money by generating some momentum with his advice? Well I would surely hope so! Is there something wrong with that? He NEVER has exploited or otherwise disadvantaged his lemmings to do so. Not only has Joe enriched me, but he has entertained and enlightened me along the way -- a breath of fresh air amidst all the pompousity and braggadocio that surrounds him. This lemming is wiggling off after him -- to make some more money and to have fun doing it.
