Compaq trading in the teens???? super!!!! I'm in.

even with my views on CPQ's serious exeuction risks over the next few years, I would buy some at that level.

don't want anyone to lose money but that would create a unheard of new buying opp for all you folks who still believe what the CPQ execs are doing and saying

Jason

Jack,

"CPQ needs to fall 6-7 Dollars before it is a good buy..." By Richard Bailer. This fund manager is probably one of the big time guys loading up on those like AOL with the most ridiculous evaluations. I wish he would enlighten those of us who are not privy to his insider's info, his reasons for such low evaluation of CPQ. This is, of course, his opinion, but I hope I will have an opportunity to ask him if he shorted this stock in a few months after CPQ has hopefully appreciated. Jack, please don't misunderstand me. I am not shooting the messenger here. Good luck to all, short or long CPQ. Peace!

Jack:

> CPQ needs to fall 6-7 Dollars before it is a good buy. This according to Richard Bailer (manager of $3 Billion AMS value fund for Morgan Stanley)

Yes, I know where he is coming from and why he is saying this! I have been keep saying: Houses in Loas Altos Hills (Silicon Valley, CA) need to fall $500K-$1 million before they are a good buy. This according to me and many others who are trying to buy a house in one of the most exclusive areas of CA!

However usually (if not most often) what we wish for is different than what we get!
