Remember the rules for large block trading are different than when we buy and sell. I think you need to ask Steve and would know more.. Subject 15612 >>I'm not sure what you mean by a block occurs outside the realm of the bid/ask....I saw plenty of blocks(100k,50k,30k etc...)go through,they did not really move the stock but I did see them tick through<< I mean a broker can do a private placement so it does not affect the stock price as much. If there is a buyer and seller for a large number of shares it does not show up in the ask/bid or general market.
