I would have thought there would have been some adjustment to the earnings estimates after the conference a couple of weeks back. A possible reason is that analyst's customers have not had enough time with the proprietary information. I have observed about a two week delay from analyst's briefings to the publishing of upgrade/downgrade reports.

Hi again..
Some interesting news from Jabil IR.
I was told on Friday by Beth Walters that Jabil "NEVER" gives guidance . And that JBIL has indeed been in a quiet period for a couple of weeks as is their policy before an earnings announcement. She also stated that they could not refute any comments by any analysts for the same reason. I sensed her frustration that nothing could be said.
I had talked to her about the Morgan Stanley conference last week, and mentioned that I had not heard any comments from MS on JBIL. She responded with the fact that JBIL has had a "road show" of sorts with an analyst sponsered technology conference nearly every week for the past 3 months. And that JBIL's story with ASIA, and earnings, and growth had not changed. So basically JBIL's comments have stayed the course and their was "NO" new news.
My perception of all this is..
JBIL is tracking right on schedule, or very possible above schedule.
Gateway is a new customer, and the Mexico plant is dedicated to that customer along with FLA. So think about this, the upcoming quarter is the first quarter of business with Gateway. Would you say that JBIL is probably making money doing work for Gateway? I would!
Add those earnings to last quarter, along with say 1.5 c per share for currency valuations. And there you are.
Regardless of what happens this quarter, it is my opinion that JBIL will be fine.
By the way, I also got the information regarding Audrey Petersens holdings. And I am satisfied that it poses no advantage, or disadvantage to JBIL's stock price.
Thanks to Karim for the detective work.
Have a nice weekend. And sorry this is so long.
