Carol--Not yet at the video stores. We saw it first run last week. However, many reviewers have not appreciated its power and depth, so it might get to the stores sooner than some. It is georgeously photographed to boot and has my new favorite male actor in it, Rufus Sewell. Jacqueline Bisset is a delight as the mother of the courtesan in training. BTW, the real life courtesan was a reknowned poet as well. I believe her name was Victoria Franco and she is celebrated in the biography titled "The Honest Courtesan". Sorry that i don't know the author. There is only so much of the credits that one can retain on one viewing. Myron
