earlyj Tuesday's event due to IBM's connection may be different

You asked about "planning" to sell then . My plan is wait as the event is scheduled for 9:00 am EST which would require selling Monday .

IBM permitting S. Jobs to demo their prototype chip is unusual by itself and Ole J has a way of pulling king sized rabbits out of his hat by himself .

If I sell on Tuesday it will only be shares which I bought at higher prices , only done to gain some tax advantages and only if I feel I can buy lower at Friday's option expirations .

Hope this helps.

Jim K.
PS: I hold IBM also and IBM's 1Q silence is deafening.

My analysis shows we just went over a local peak but the trend is still strong. This is very different to August last year. I suspect the "good news" from Jobs is largely built into the price at the moment. It could go up some more but I'm not expecting any huge peaks.
I'm writing this Tuesday afternoon Australian time. Let's see if I was right.
