No arguements from me on that. I am just trying to point out the Microsoft isn't going to sit around. The decision to go with Microsoft Java may not be in the hands of the programmers, it will be a business decision based upon business goals. And when it comes to the business side of things, there are few if any better than Microsoft.

Short term it is generally agreed Sun will benefit, but out a few years when Java is supposed to be the cats meow, will Microsoft have usurped it? I wouldn't count it out.
