David, I received the following E mail from a broker who has a professional perspective of the halt.(Excert)

" I'll answer your question from the context of my experience as a broker.
Halts are usually put in place for the protection of the shareholder. The exchanges do not have details like you and I on the activities and achievements within EACH listed company. They are obliged when a stock rises abnormally to examine the reasons for the rise and make sure it is legit and not a stock promotion. A move from 1 to 6 bucks in such a short time certainly qualifies for a halt. I was surprised it did'nt happen sooner. A successful examination usually results in an
increase in upward activity due to the legitimacy given to the price rise. Certainly not something to worry about."(end Quote)
