I agree entirely with the "falling in love" feeling for Amazon (of which I am a returning customer). E*Trade is in the midst of a price war, which is bad.

I liked (Barron's article) the "word of mouth" and Net-based advertising strategy from Datek : that was the way to go to control costs.

Long in E*Trade, I shall wait until next august. As long as E*Trade is in top-five rating lists, they should do all-right, as customers love to flock with leaders.
