[ NCTI ] Hi, Carl. Glad you're back.

==>
NCTI, would this qualify as a long term DT or do the two bottom excursions negate the DT? If indeed the DT is intact it would appear we are very near the apex, any guess on direction?
==>

How's the best way to answer that? OK. ...

If the entire world revolved around an Extremely Strict pattern without allowance for any +/- deviation ....

I don't think we'd be here today. Evolution would cease and adverse selection would never appear. I believe that the Rules written by the Kings of TA regarding the Entire TA Universe were based on Glittering General Principals.
[ While they kept a few of the Best Ideas / Secrets to themselves ]

The +/- deviation must therefore .. always be taken into consideration to allow for the Evolution of TA and the continuation of the TA Species... With out that + or - Tolerance there would be Zero Growth of New Ideas.

Especially in the case of Formations or Ascending and Descending Triangles, if you will.

Having said that. .....

Yep, NCTI looks enough like a DT for me to call it a DT.

The Lows of 2/3 and 2/4/98 show support on the High of 8/5/97. The Close of 10/16/97 seems to be providing support for the lows of 11/19/97, and 2/5/98.

But the Count on the Number of days where the Low or Close or Open was Equal to .... $1.00 would convince me that the Real Base was near 1.00. Or in other words ... I'd toss a few Highs and Lows out the door. But that's the way I see it ... not what the TextBooks say.

If the person viewing an AT or DT thought about it a bit more and decided that "Smoothing" could be an important factor in determining the Formation, they may use a 5dma or 3dma for the Tops and Bottoms of the DT. and Toss out the the Highs and Lows in order to use an Averaging method such as DMAs or even EMAs similar to "Smoothing".

Yes, I agree it's getting close to it's Apex / Trendline.

I'll be watching it and looking to buy back in. I'm not holding any NCTI today but, I like the Company.

There seems to be a lot of Daytrading for a Steenth going on with NCTI. Kinda like perpetual 1.00 and 1 1/16 GTC limit orders until a Wire is released then they hold it longer.

All of that IMHO.

And I'll ..... "Play it again, Sam."

Ray
