I think "one standard" is a good idea. It would keep any confusion to a minimum. If eugene and I start something different from you and Mike, then when opponents exchange, unneccesary thinking must take place to determine color. I'd rather eliminate the unnecessary thinking by having one standard, so that necessary thinking (the playing of chess) could be given the attention it deserves. We'll go with odd/even post numbers as previously prescribed. How's the wine collection? -MrB
