Som, Ameritrade has always given me excellent trades and fair support. Caveats are poor knowledge, (on their part). The kid I talked to said to place a buy limit order, when I inquired about the difference between a buy stop order and a buy Limit stop orders. They didn't know that you can short SPY on a downtick and they said I can write a covered call against SPY and DIA, (I don't think so). Confirms for trades placed in the first couple of hours can take all day. All in all Ameritrade would be perfect for a position trader, site is easy to navigate and the trading window stays open all day with none of those annoying "enter password again" messages. If you want a real day traders brokerage go with MBTrading or AB Wately. Roy
