t36:

You think it could an issue of cost, service and listing requirements as well??? I often wondered why there is an overwhelming number of tech companies on the NASDAQ, can understand the small ones being there but why the 'blue chips'?? Anyway I haven't a clue, may be i will send a query to NASDAQ and see what they say, good idea you suppose??? Then again you see companies like CPQ,LSI etc on NYSE.

Anyway I hear now the big push is to get as many foreign companies listed as possible by both the exchanges. The big guys from both the exchanges were seen scouting companies in many countries recently according to some news reports that I have read. I think NYSE is more forthright than the NAZ people as the latter seem to have a larger spread than the former when trading stocks. Now with the merger talks going on between NAZ and AMEX perhaps some semblance of 'fairness' might come about on this tech-heavy exchange. What is with the OTC 'bulletin-board' anyway, slack requirements (actually virtually none)and all, another rip-off.
