I don't think that Netscape is thought of as an effective competitor.
What's more they simply may strike a deal with YHOO itself.
Watch what that will do to it's price :-)

I don't think Netscape has a business model at all right now. Their client and server software business is questionable, IMO.

I think Netcenter is a viable concept...focus on business users, not consumers.

But, even though Netscape has the huge traffic, much of it is default home page stuff. Netscape doesn't have the mind share in the directory space that Yahoo has. Adding Infoseek would certainly give them more utility, but I don't see Netscape (or anyone else for that matter) ever competing toe to toe with Yahoo. Yahoo has taken it.

Thus I don't see "important" money leaving Yahoo for Netscape.
