i couldnt believe it myself...the worst thing was that another computer store offered a 233 MMX with more hard drive memory and a 14 inch monitor the very next week for the same price (complete for $800 -- CPQ brand new)...to clear out inventory...they are hitting the bid...and I just got ran over

quite frankly, the model I bought prior to the Pavilion was a necessary upgrade...but we are reaching a point where the upgrade cycle should begin lengthening unless its a new paradigm..and that Network PC is not retail stuff and may not be corporate stuff either
