My dear penni, we are not arguing.

The question is, can anyone become a homosexual if that person is faced with no alternatives? If this is true then homosexuality becomes a matter of choice not genes which many people seem to think is the cause of homosexuality.

Back to the island scene.
Lets assume a 30 year old gay man and a 30 year old lesbian are stranded on the island for 10 years. If they have a 9 year sexual relationship are they still homosexuals or are they now heterosexual? Again, a choice was made.
They decided that heterosexual sex was better than NO sex at all.

The bottom line, IMO, is that homosexuality is a matter of free choice, and not the "he/she was born that way" excuse.
