If ACRT were to buy back 150,000 shares at $14.00 per share, book value would drop by $0.25/share to just over $2.00 per share. Mr. Pink ascribes the likelihood of this happening at 2%. He would celebrate a buy-back as the company would collapse shortly thereafter.

Who cares about institutions buying. Driehaus sold there stock when the Ricearoni article came out. The value is low single digits whether the shares are held by weak individuals on margin or some bucket shop so called institutional momentum player.

This is true. What little cash they do have is all offshore and subject to tax if repatriated.
