Loki, my only experience staying in Houston is with family. I had an uncle there. I'm sure there are terrific hotels in Houston. As for Nw Orleans, I'll be staying with friends who've just bought a house in the Garden District. I'll be a little out of the fray which suits me fine since on other occasions in the Big Easy I may have "partaken" a bit too freely of all the varied offerings.
