Again I do NOT believe that homosexuality is in any way related to behaviors such as pederasty or promiscuity any more than heterosexuality makes men rapists or adulterers. Exactly. And as you also note, being forced to conceal a very basic element of one's identity is, I should think, a terrible strain. I see no reason why society should condemn a group of people who, except for their sexual preference, are like everybody else. Most of the gay men I know are in stable long-term relationships. Younger gays usually are not, but then neither are straight men in their 20s.
