Bill, I still think gays are better off if they stay in the closet.
The following is a true story.

About five years ago there was a gay guy who worked for the same company as me. Everyone knew he was gay even though he did'nt broadcast it. Everybody was friendly towards him and he was accepted as an equal co-worker. Then he made a fatal mistake. He was in a public restroom on the turnpike and was propositioning men as they were urinating. The last man he propositioned was an out of uniform state cop who arrested him on the spot. His name and the charges were published in the local paper and he was finished. No one at work would talk to him anymore and he wound up quitting.
