Didn't mean that they HAD to cover, just that the shorts were surprised at SUNW's strength and and found themselves in a bad spot. That then caused the 4 pt drop on Monday to fully recover on Tuesday. Short selling and covering probably doubled the actual volatility. SUNW announced on Tuesday that they were NOT going to preannounce - which is the same as saying they're on target. The parallel with EGRP - expected bad news turns out to be good news - should be clear Monday AM.
