off topic - I think my ISP is starving its hamsters again tonight. Gheesh, but it'sslooooow!

Speaking of Hamsters Holly, I have rather a good story about hamsters and computers.

When I was selling TRS-80's for Radio Shack in the early 1980's I got rather an unusual call from one of my younger customers. It turns out his hampster had crawled in to the TRS-80's disk drive and could not find its way out. Well I had to talk the boy and his father through the delicate task of removing the poor hampster from the computer. Being the P.R. person that I am I called the local paper and told them the story. Well in that weekend's edition of the paper there was a picture of the boy holding his hampster next to the TRS-80 Model 3 48k.(retail price $3500cdn with one 5 and 1/4 inch floppy.speed 4mghz).

those were the days.
