But things are different this time. The PC platform has finally stabilized with the PII-266 and Voodoo II. You won't see MPRS delaying games to support the latest hardware coming out in 6 months because the PII-266 with Voodoo II or even a RIVA 128/i740 will do.

Lets face it is the constant delays on the PC games that killed MPRS
because they have no other major source of Revenues other than the PC
platform.

But MPRS sure missed the boat on the Sony PSX. A stable platform that
only requires one version of the game and never needs upgrading.

Hopefully when the Sega Katana comes out MPRS games will be easily
ported over to it.

>>>Unfortunately, I no longer see any new hope in your post. I've heard it before: Just wait another quarter or two, amazing games are on their way, just hang on a bit longer, the demos look fantastic, this time it's different...<<<<

<<<The most glaring example was their "explanation" of the reasons for calling off the GTIS merger ("We all felt it wasn't the time").>>>

Hey Tony I too was dissapointed at the explanation. I wasn't a shareholder at the time but became interested at that point. Not sure if this helps but I attributed that "Lack of Detail" to the deal that was inked. It was obvious at the time (on the street) that MPRS was the entity that wanted to call it off. Under those conditions GTIS could have made MPRS forward an $8 mil break-up fee. GTIS probably waived this with stipulations. MPRS would have to be humble with the press...it's the only explanation I can come up with to rationalize things. It works for me and fits...not conclusive that it is true, just speculation.

If true, then it was a wise move by MPRS brass. Sending an $ 8 mil check over to GTIS would have been detrimental to the future of MPRS. They have enough challenges without being more cash stricken than they already are.

I hope one man's observation helps a little bit here. Sounds like you have some legitimate gripes about management and the lack of performance in the stock valuation. If you hold longer I hope it comes back for you. If you sell...good luck in your future selections!

Have a nice Sunday all,
Rich

Tony, you are humorously right as always... That "What a difference a year makes" has been haunting the co. since they made the statement. I spoke with MPRS the day the merger was cancelled, and in a reserved way I learned the company had a lot of reservations about GTIS method of accounting. I made a little money on the short side of GTIS after it went to 10 and 1/2 after the merger failed, but I think MPRS had a reason to go along with the equivocal and shameful press release. In any event, investor or speculator, I hope you see a chance to exit this stock on a upnote in the next six months. I believe you will get that chance. If not in Q1, then Q2. Good luck.
