My thinking about the DEC CPQ merger is.....buy buy and buy as much as you can now. Tomorrow will the the future.....this is the ground floor and the upwards visions is endless. We need not worry our little heads about this deal. The big boys that get paid the big bucks are looking out for OUR future in one of the greatest companies in the world. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Hello KAD, your post confirms what I also believe. Computer manufacturers are facing an inflection point, of sorts.

A lot of people who used to post here have faded into the woodwork, including Digital Man. Would like to congratulate him on his profile in April's Smart Money. Hope everyone will re-emerge once cpq is moving forward again. dulane

>> Where is Kai Ewe - miss his posts!

Me too. But Kai probably has the same problem I do,
namely, hundreds of posts per day. I've been posting recently
because I have a tough work problem and it's an
avoidance response ... sort of twiddling of the frontal
lobes in which the outside of the head stays motionless
but the inside revolves aimlessly ...

Don't take this as belittling the thread; it's just not
something I have a lot of time for nowadays. I suspect
Kai has the same problem. Or maybe he was smarter than
the rest of us and got out at 36.

>>He is none other than Mr Daniel Martini - resurrected.

Hi Kad. Sorry I am a little late in responding.

No that was not me, resurrected or otherwise. I don't use code names or initials or whatever. If I write something, you will see my name attached to it.

Since I don't own CPQ at the moment, I only visit sporadically. When it awakens from the dead, or for some other reason becomes interesting again, I will be here to keep you honest<g>.
