FWIW......I received two research reports this weekend on Concurrent Computer Corporation. Both analysts have a 'strong buy' rating on the stock. Both reports were updated in February. One report indicates that 39 institutions currently own 9.25 million shares of common representing 19.61% of the float. The same report indicates that six insiders bought 24,000 shares in the last six months. Not much of a purchase but an insider purchase none the less.

The second report is from E. Brian Harvey.....originally of the LL company. He is still very bullish and has indicated again that his 12-18 month price target is $5.50 to $6.00 per share.

i beg to differ: the government pays you to park big money in a stock that sleeps for months precisely because when it then takes off you can sell with a longterm capital gain and you get to play on with a bigger pile of chips.

Love of action is dangerous to your investment health. Warren Buffett
has said that he would not care if the stock market closed for six months. I feel pretty much the same way.

The better question about a stock not moving is whether the investment assumptions you made when buying it are not valid. If they are still valid, I am perfectly willing to wait for market recognition.

Star Cruises Selects Network Connection's CruiseView(R) Advanced Interactive Television System for Cruise Ships

ATLANTA, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Network Connection, Inc. (TNCi) (Nasdaq: TNCX - news) announced today a definitive agreement, previously announced in December 1997 as a letter of intent valued at $4-6 million, for the purchase, installation and maintenance services for CruiseView, TNCi's advanced interactive television entertainment and information system (ITV), on Star Cruises vessels.

Terms of the agreement were not announced.

Star Cruises, controlled by Genting International, commands the youngest and most modern cruise ship fleet in the world and the largest fleet in Asia with six vessels. Star will become the fourth largest cruise ship operator in the world after taking delivery of its additional two largest vessels currently under construction, the SuperStar Leo and the SuperStar Virgo.

CruiseView will be installed on the SuperStar Leo and SuperStar Virgo; 2,800 passenger and 1,000 crew vessels with 1,500 cabins that are being constructed at the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Germany. The ships are scheduled for completion in August of 1998 and mid-1999, respectively. Upon completion of the SuperStar Leo, it is expected that other remaining vessels will be released for CruiseView installation. The SuperStar Leo will be utilized for guest lodging at port during the Summer Olympics held in Sydney, Australia in 2000.

The CruiseView all-digital system will utilize an ATM fibre and ethernet network with IP Multicast and Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) routing to support up to thirty-two (32) live-feed, closed-circuit and satellite-based digital television programs in addition to personal interactive entertainment and video/audio on demand, shopping, multi-player games, gambling, shore excursion/event booking, karaoke and Internet access all simultaneously, independently and with full user control via a wireless television remote control in each cabin. CruiseView will also provide crew interactive training at the same time.

According to Star Cruises, TNCi was selected for their innovative technological leadership and diversity with proven standards-based products that will allow Star flexibility and ease of support for a complete high-bandwidth shipboard information and entertainment network for both passenger and operational crew services.

''The CruiseView all-digital system is the most technologically advanced information and entertainment system in the cruise industry today. Star Cruises has the vision and understanding of the overwhelming benefits of applying proven standards-based advanced LAN technology for both information and entertainment needs on their vessels. We are delighted to be working with such a forward-thinking company who understands the advantages in applying proven interactive technology to improve crew productivity and deliver the highest quality of service and entertainment to their guests,'' said Wil Riner, TNCi Chairman and CEO.
