thanks for the link... great story (now thats value-add)!!!

anyway, I see a common logic flaw in the discussion on this thread. Whenever Dell's business gets mentioned it seems to get couched in terms of the consumer market segment. According to Dell finanicals this accounts for less then 10% of their biz.

As a matter of fact in Q3 IDC stated that Dell was the leading supplier of desktop PCs to corp america. Then they came back and said they counted wrong and CPQ was. smells like a photo finish to me. If Dell continues to grow 3 times faster than CPQ then one of these qtr's there will be a clear winner!
