To All: I have submitted my entries to George for his contest. Now I would like to express my opinion on several of the current thread topics... Regarding management, nothing is all good or all bad. I won't re-hash the negatives at this point, but will acknowledge that they abound. However, I choose to ride the fence on this subject for the following reasons: *The Softworks acquisition was a solid management decision. Someone earlier accused CCC of "feeding" off Softworks profits. Well, isn't that better than issuing even more shares of common, or creating a ton of long term debt? CCC has been in the process of developing a concept into a marketable product and needed a "food supply" to continue operations. Plus, as dbExpress begins to contribute to profits, look at the contribution Softworks will continue to provide to EPS. * Criticism has been leveled at current management regarding their capability to take this company further, i.e. marketing on an international level. Certainly, Jim Cannavino has been brought on for some reason, possibly because management thinks he could provide some assistance and leadership in these areas. We will see his contribution begin this week. He must see something in this company, including the management. Same logic applies to Greg Garbe. * A reverse stock split IN CONJUNCTION WITH positive earnings growth and continuing business success is not necessarily a bad thing. Much to the contrary, it may be the right thing to do, for all the reasons previously discussed on this thread, i.e. reduced float, increased institutional interest, etc. I'm certainly NOT a Pollyanna, I'm simply choosing to re-group at this point, take a deep breath and remember why I am long CCEE. Regards to a great group, Steve W.
