You know, the askgod thread continues to judge. Oh, such unending kindness and fawning over names which do not look to be Jewish, although the poster is obviously a true spawn of satan, and spits on our Lord in print. Like James says, 'nuf said, but it continues to be a measuring rod I believe. Gregor's post no being judged exclusively under the Law might be more intensely profound than we dream. I want to study it. But, Gregor, wouldn't that more than anything possible assure that those who live under Jesus Christ are ABSOLUTELY free under the Law of Grace to also have love for and pay some sort of personal attention to the prerequisites of the "law" originally given. It certainly seems to me of all things on the face of the entire earth and things we haven't yet dreamed of in Heaven, that of ALL things under the Law a Christian is free to love Jehovah--that makes since because that we Jesus' FIRST commandment--that we love His Father with all our heart and soul and mind, and if someone genetic Jewish or otherwise still holds sacred the Law in any form, how much better. The separation of the two is insane. It is so far under the Blood anyway--the Law--that keeping it in any form simply cannot be judged. If Nancy were to begin to keep the jot and tittle of the Law under the Blood of Jesus Christ, I believe that all that would be added were more jewels in the crown for such devotion to the things of the Father. To judge it--The Father and Son cannot and will not be separated as we separate them in our 2,000 year later much messed up protestant logic. And the judgment heaped with buckets of live coals and verbal beatings the last months past I believe still strikes me as slightly insane. What do you think? How in any way shape or form could Jesus Christ judge anyone for loving the Law, which Jesus says He has now written on our hearts. He didn't instruct us to hate the old one, and all looking at it even briefly would be severely punished. This is what I don't understand. So, if it is not there at all, and we have no business judging each other in THIS area of ALL things on the face of the earth that MIGHT be considered sin, speaking of the Law was treated like satan worship in words on the other thread. That is why we brought this here. It can be discussed and dissected for truth. So, Gregor, can you see anything vaguely hinted at in scripture that judges any follower of Jesus Christ for willingly loving the law in any manner, even if they so desire to not pick up a small reed mat on Saturday because it seems like "work". Say I believed I shouldn't. We act like this is going to put us in hell. That's what was so OFF about it. That's what I would like to see us get to the bottom of here without outside agitation, as it is very important to understand it. And like Nancy says, the Ark being pointed to by Jesus so John would absolutely get the point, being an extreme lover of my brother John, I very much want to know what he is trying so hard to get across to us. I think we're stumbling along with advanced theology here very, very well indeed. Can you tell me what basis you see for any person on earth who does accept Jesus Christ exactly as He is, how that person will be judged by either Jesus Christ or the Heavenly Father, and Jesus says they will BOTH be there at judgment, just like John says, the one sitting down, the One we know by His right side--I rambling again, but how could either one judge Nancy, me or you for keeping any portion of the Law out of personal desire to simply keep the law, if we were attempting to keep every jot and tittle just for the principle of keeping the law in addition to living under Grace. To judge, verbally mug, drive away in the name of Jesus--that was sinful to me. That's all. So if it isn't sinful, and that's what Jesus really wants, then I seek understanding of such a desire on the part of the Son of God. I thought I rather understood Him, but in this area, I'm without a clue still. Think it over and let me know please.
