I suspect a lot of this goes on with several 'groups'.
I am in a few 'groups' but on the threads here on SI. I believe a public
fourm is best to allow each investor to make their own decisions and
not have problems with being accused of stock manipulation.
I can see advantages with having a group and handling it the way
you described. IMO a definite scheme. Isn't that against the law?
I want to make money and like to get a jump on others, but not interested in getting fined or going to jail.

This group definitely is trying to manipulate a stock price for their benefit. And yes, this is against the law. If I posted the original e-mail that was sent to me you would see that it obvious that they are just trying to get the price moving so day traders see it and try to jump in. this inflates the price even more and then they dump it all for a quick profit.
I do not want to hurt this group or stop them, that was not my intention. I was just trying to alert some of the HNLY stock owners of why the price may be rising on Monday and that it will be a false signal and that it may be a good time to take a profit.

That's what these boards are for. SO investors can help one another to make money, not lose it to a bunch of scam traders.
