FIRST PRIORITY TARGET CONFIRMED AS KIMBERLITE PIPE

HALF TONNE KIMBERLITE SAMPLE TO ASHTON LAB FOR TESTING
DIAMOND DRILL MOVED TO NEXT PRIORITY TARGET

The Company wishes to announce the description of the first diamond drill hole just completed
in the 44 hectare Kassama Anomaly which is as follows:

Surface to 151 metres bedded sedimentary rocks in crater
151 to 176 metres bedded tuffaceous kimberlite
176 to 225 metres kimberlite breccia
225 to 282.4 metres kimberlite breccia with lapilli (diatreme phase)

The drill core was logged and reported by Dearn Lee, Mink International's diamond consultant
on site, formerly Chief Mineralogist of Ashton Mining Limited.

Drilled at -75o from the horizontal and so far intersecting a total of 131.4 metres of the newly
discovered pipe, the drill hole was stopped while still in kimberlite. Except for a few sections
preserved for reference purposes, most of the drill core of kimberlitic material weighing more
than half a tonne are being shipped to Ashton's Perth Laboratory for immediate evaluation.

While awaiting test results, the Mink-Ashton Management Committee has decided to
temporarily move the diamond drill from Kassama to the Sansanto Anomaly, another top
priority target. Drilling of the Sansanto Anomaly is expected to commence immediately. The
Kassama Pipe and the Sansanto Anomaly are the first two -- from among eleven (11) top
priority targets, that were recently selected for diamond drilling and/or testing this exploration
season.

The Kenieba Diamond Project, located in the Republic of Mali, is a joint venture between Mink
International (49%) and Ashton West Africa Pty Ltd (51%).
