I agree completely on the cash for the downturn....except for JBIL and a small semi-permenant position in CTAL, all of my "disretionary" money is cash as of early last week...I have been thinking seriously for the last 2 weeks about moving all my pension money from mutuals into money market funds (the only choice I have over it is mutuals or money market funds)....the market has had a huge runup and is overdue for a significant correction....even if I go all cash now and the market runs up another 10% without stopping, the worst case scenario for the year if I go to money market funds now is about 15% annual gain. But, I too am going to wait and see what happens Monday...if I hit on JBIL, I will probably remain all (or mostly all) cash until we get a correction - if I miss on JBIL, I will probably also remain mostly cash, but will just have less of it remaining... I thought your JBIL picks were good picks when you made them (especially the Friday pick) and I was surprised when they did poorly. JBIL is volatile though and almost anything can and does happen with it... Troy
